Wasche und trockne Deine Hände gründlich, nicht nur, um ds Lenkerband von Verschmutzung fernzuhalten sondern auch damit Öle und Fette von den Fingern nicht die Kontaktfläche zwischen Lenkerband und Lenker kompromittieren. | |||
Du brauchst eine sehr gute und scharfe Schere. Diese muss so nah am Arbeitsplatz liegen, dass man sie greifen kann, ohne die Spannung des Lenkerbands zu vernachlässigen. Wenn man einmal angefangen hat, das Lenkerband zu wickeln, darf man niemals die Spannung lockern, bis man fertig ist. | |||

Tape is supplied in rolls long enough for one side of the handlebar, left or right, with some excess. Two rolls of tape may be packaged together, with one adhesive strip (for each roll) to secure them. You work with one roll at a time. Cut 6 inches off the end of one roll and set that piece aside, for where the tape passes the brake lever, unless strips already have been provided.
