Der linke Sattel in obigem Bild ist ein Highend Idéale Model 92. Das Leder ist Rodée Main Selon DRebour (von Hand eingefahren durch einen Prozess, der durch den Fahrradillustrator Daniel Rebour entwickelt wurde). Der Aluminiumunterbau ist entlang des Klemmbolzen-Lochs gebrochen, so dass die Sattelnase nicht mehr hoch steht. In guter Verfassung ist ein solches Modell inzwischen wegen seiner Seltenheit und seinem Stil ein Vermögen wert. Jedoch ist das Design fehlerhaft. Stahlsattelstreben brechen natürlich auch- In folgendem Bild ist die Lederdecke entfernt und neue Nieten sind eingesetzt. | |||

Die Nietenpositionen und der Schuh in der Sattelnase sind identisch zu einem Idéale Model 80. In folgendem Bild erkennt man dessen gerissene Lederdecke, die durch jahrelanges Aussetzen in der Witterung ohne regelmäßiges Nachölen entstanden ist. | |||

Ersatznieten sollten saugend in den Löchern des Leders sitzen und lang genug sein. In folgendem Bild ist zur Größenbestimmung ein Zentimetermaß abgebildet. Der Schaft dieser Nieten ist ca. 3mm (<sup>1</sup>/<sub>8</sub> Zoll) dich und ungefähr 7 mm (<sup>3</sup>/<sub>8</sub> Zoll) lang.
